Running is a great way to build endurance and stamina, but what about muscle? By the same token, you can build good muscle with strength training, but what about your endurance? You’ve got to both if you want to be fit, strong and healthy!
And, because we’re all pretty busy these days, what better way to get fit, strong and healthy, than to combine your cardio and your strength training into a single workout? In addition, afterburn (i.e. number of calories burnt post exercise) is greatest after a cardio/strength training workout (at least according to this study).
So, with that in mind, we’ve put together a special combo-workout which includes a bit of cardio, strength-training and high-intensity interval training. Enjoy!
